As the year is about to end, several best/worst/whatever list of 2009 are popping up. One of the more enjoyable ones is the Wired Vaporware 2009 list. And, as Duke Nukem Forever was finally abandoned this summer we have a new winner.
BTW: Some days ago there was a very nice background article of the rise and fall of Duke Nukem Forever.
70-Minute Video Review of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace -
If you had the misfortune of seeing The Phantom Menace, watch this awesome, bizarre and totally devastating take-down of that crappy film.
I had quite some fun watching this quite unusual review. Worth watching.

Finally, after about 400GB of raw, unedited HD-footage from 3 of the last Nine Inch Nails performances had been (unofficialy ;-) released for fans to edit, a cut 3 hour live video has been released via BitTorrent. It’s called ‘Another Version of The Truth’, it is available in 3 versions for now and I’m downloading it as I write this.

Unlike other publishing sites’ approach to backups, our goal was to create a useful copy of your blog’s content that can be viewed on any computer, burned to a CD, or hosted as an archive of static HTML files.
Wherever possible, we use simple file formats. Our backup structure is optimized for Mac OS X’s Spotlight for searching and Quick Look for browsing, and we’ll try to use the same structure and achieve the same benefits on other platforms.
Supports incremental backups and each post file has the Tumblr-API-based XML included so you can do anything you want with the data later. Awesome.

Well, looks like I was right, again. The netbook forums are now blowing up with problems of 10.6.2 instant rebooting their Atom based netbooks. My sources tell me that everytime a netbook user installs 10.6.2 an Apple employee gets their wings. Just an FYI, this is OSx86 after all and none of the scenes hackers really let down on support. The latest kernel may not be “officially” supported but that doesn’t mean there won’t be a modded kernel around the corner. — Stell’s Blog: Official: Atom not supported in 10.6.2.
