“The more fine-grained it is, the worse it feels; the classic example of how much this sucks would be Apple’s QuickTime Pro upgrade for QuickTime Player. Until fairly recently, such basic features as “full-screen playback” required a paid-for upgrade to the basic free software. Although that particular feature is now free, many others are still paid-only, and this does nothing but inspire ill will and venom for the company.”
